Crossword Events
Crossword aims to be a point of cultural and social interaction,
where authors and poets hold court, where children are regaled,
where people gravitate to be informed, to be entertained, to be
enlightened.
Our stores are platforms for interactions between authors and
readers, forums for discussions on a wide variety of subjects
ranging from Indian writing in English to India's Nuclear Programme
to ERP to Child Sexual Abuse.
Among the numerous writers who have visited the store are Orhan Pamuk, Vikram Chandra, Vikram Seth, Suketu Mehta, Kiran Desai, Amitav Ghosh, Ram Charan, Robin Sharma, P.Chidambaram, Shashi Tharoor, Nandan Nilekani, Manil Suri and William Dalrymple.
In our endeavour to inculcate the reading habit amongst children,
we have a weekly reading programmes for children of various age
groups. There is no pre-condition or fee required to participate,
